This seminar is an overview and demonstration of the Hydraulic Engineering Center's River Analysis System (HEC-RAS) software and is primarily for those already familiar with HEC-2, and considering using HEC-RAS. The focus is on HEC-RAS capabilities, especially as they contrast with those of HEC-2, to help facilitate transition. This seminar does not cover all the fundamentals of open-channel hydraulic analysis and is not a hands-on seminar. It is a comprehensive one-day overview and demonstration.
