Experience

Ms. Walker joined Dodson & Associates, Inc. in 2002. She has more than a decade of experience in water resources planning and design. She has managed numerous hydrologic and hydraulic projects of significant scope and is skilled at team building and coordination to ensure effective project performance. She is committed to providing clients with the highest level service and is proficient at adjusting project plans to meet changing client needs.  She is responsible for managing more than $1MILLION in hydrology and hydraulics studies annually. She also regularly works with other project team members in different offices and has managed all of Dodson’s engineers and technical staff on various projects.

Jennifer’s experience includes:  major hydrologic and hydraulic studies, channel improvements projects, master drainage studies, flood plain management studies and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) submittals, drainage criteria manual development, watershed impact analyses, and reviewing drainage studies on behalf of public agencies. Prior to joining Dodson, she was involved in detention, channel, and storm sewer design.  She is also an expert on detention routing and downstream impacts analyses and has experience with almost all widely used detention routing programs. Ms. Walker has also developed a two-day seminar on Advanced Detention Routing that she regularly teaches through the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
