EXPERIENCE:
Mr. Starks joined Dodson & Associates,
Inc. in 1985 and serves as the CAD/GIS Manager for the firm. He
manages all computer graphics operations, including Geographic
Information Systems, Computer-Assisted Drafting, Computer Animation
and Video Graphics, CAD and GIS data conversion, and the development
of CAD and GIS macros for hydrologic and hydraulic analysis. Mr.
Starks is a computer graphics professional with a broad range of
skills and experience. He is very accomplished as an AutoCAD user and
programmer. His specialized use of AutoLisp routines for hydrologic
and hydraulic applications were featured in an article in CADENCE
magazine.
Mr. Starks is also an expert in mapping
applications and Geographic Information Systems. He has worked with
the Software Division of Dodson & Associates, Inc. to develop several
mapping data products for sale to Dodson software customers. Mr.
Starks is also well-versed in the development of computer animations
for use in courtroom presentations and in public hearings and forensic
analyses, including 3-dimensional animations. He has developed several
innovative concepts for demonstrating the causes and effects of
flooding.
