Storm Water Management (SWM)

For many years, Dodson & Associates, Inc. has been instrumental in building an understanding of storm water management issues around the country.  Since the mid-1990s Dodson personnel have instructed engineers, municipal storm water managers, and other interested parties in understanding National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) regulations and requirements.  Hundreds of people throughout the country have benefited from this expertise.  In addition, Dodson personnel have prepared storm water management plans, erosion control plans, and other compliance documents for storm water permitting.  Dodson also includes a geomorphologic capability and has performed channel location studies, bridge alignment studies, bridge scour evaluations, and erosion assessments for various private and public entities.  We have also assisted municipalities in regulating storm water discharges by creating Drainage Criteria Manuals and providing review services for drainage projects.
