Floodplain Management

Dodson & Associates, Inc. is recognized as an area leader in floodplain management, with six Certified Floodplain Managers on staff.  Our firm has prepared hundreds of Letters of Map Change in our history, including Conditional and final Letters of Map Revision (CLOMR, LOMR), Physical Map Revisions (PMR), and complete Flood Insurance restudies.  We have worked extensively with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to ensure that our submittals are timely and complete and result in actions that are appropriate for our clients and their communities.  In addition, we have assisted communities in understanding their requirements in the National Flood Insurance Program, through training, Community Rating System (CRS) support, and consulting services for municipal projects.
