eFloodMap.com is… A free website provided as a public service to the general public to easily view Flood Insurance Rate Maps in the Greater Houston Area. Tools are provided for the locating FIRM panels by visually selecting from a guide map, locating a panel by the four digit panel number, or finding a panel located in a zip code area. Locating a property by address is not provided with this website. FEMA's Flood Map Store provides the necessary tools for locating a property by address for all participating communities in the US. particular property, or interpreting the maps in any way whatsoever.
The flood maps available at eFloodMap.com are not suitable for use in
completing a Flood Hazard Determination Form (FEMA form 81-93), because
eFloodMap.com does not warrant the accuracy of this data for that purpose. If an
official Flood Hazard Determination is required (when applying for a mortgage
loan, for example) then that service should be purchased from a qualified
